The diaphragm itself is made of stainless steel plates, and each diaphragms group is stacked by several plates.Several diaphragms sets are staggered with two half couplings by bolts.The diaphragm coupling can compensate the relative displacement of the two axes caused by the elastic deformation of the diaphragm.It have 2 type: link type and integral type. It is a high-performance elastic coupling with sturdy metal elements.

There is no gear connection, so it is not affected by temperature and oil contamination.
It has the characteristics of acid resistance, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance. It works easily even in high temperature, high speed, and corrosive environments.
Because of its simple structure, light weight, small size, and easy to disassemble, diaphragm couplings with intermediate shaft type can be assembled and disassembled without moving the machine. The transmission efficiency is as high as 99.86%. Particularly suitable for high-speed and high-power transmission.

Diaphragm couplings do not require lubrication or maintenance, which fundamentally eliminates vibration caused by gear surface wear ,and avoids a series of problem, such as imbalance caused by oil accumulation in the gear coupling.It is  can operate in harsh environmental conditions, such as any environment within 300  Celsius degrees, but also in corrosive environments such as acids, alkali, salt spray, etc.There are no gaps and noise when noise-free coupling parts are assembled, thus maintaining a constant initial dynamic balance accuracy. At the same time, it also has a high power-to-quality ratio, which is especially suitable for connecting high-power devices.


The diaphragm coupling has a strong ability to compensate the misalignment of the two axes.The angular displacement is double of a gear coupling, the reaction force is small during radial displacement, and the flexibility is large, allowing certain axial, radial and angular displacement.The diaphragm coupling can accurately transmit the speed without slipping, and can be used for transmission of precision machinery.Diaphragm coupling can effectively reduce vibration and noise ,wear-free.In addition, the diaphragm coupling can also accurately transmit the speed without discrepancy, which is suitable for precision mechanical transmission.

For example, diaphragm couplings are also used in the transmission systems of helicopters, tracked vehicles, ships, etc.
Diaphragm coupling: It is similar to the plum coupling, but the diaphragm coupling is more heavier,and the displacement adjustment ratio is larger,

The diaphragm coupling is made of steel and aluminum alloy. It is similar to the plum coupling in applications.Both are suitable for light industry and CNC machine tools, but if the load is large and the displacement compensation is large,diaphragm couplings have advantages than plum couplings.
